Dubai Beaches: new and popular places

In October, a new beach location appeared in Dubai – J1 Beach. There will be many cafes and restaurants, beach clubs and entertainment. We found out what is currently available on J1 Beach and what other beach holiday options are available in Dubai.

After a large-scale renovation, a new city beach J1 Beach (formerly La Mer) has opened in Dubai. 13 restaurants and beach clubs are expected to open on its territory.

The first institution that started its work at J1 Beach was the Gigi Rigolatto Beach Club – it opened on October 14. Guests are offered to relax on a private beach, which also has a swimming pool, a children’s area, and a shop. The Gigi Rigoletto Italian restaurant with two picturesque terraces is located on the territory of the beach club.

Another new location on J1 Beach is the Gitano Restaurant. Its menu includes dishes and drinks of modern Mexican cuisine. Guests will enjoy boho aesthetics, dinner and dancing to the flickering of disco balls.

The Sirene Beach by Gaia Beach Club, inspired by Greek mythology, is scheduled to open in December.

DUBAI BEACH CLUBS

Dubai has many beach clubs located along the coastline in the areas of Palm Jumeirah, JBR, Dubai Marina, Jumeirah. Beach clubs provide access to a private beach, sun beds and umbrellas, and the opportunity to swim in the pool. There are cafes and restaurants where you can buy drinks, as well as have lunch or dinner in a comfortable environment overlooking the sea.

In Dubai, you can visit both family beach clubs, where children’s areas are equipped, as well as adults only clubs.

The beach club is ideal for those who prefer a secluded vacation with a taste of luxury – many clubs are located on the territory of luxury hotels in Dubai. To access the beach club, you need to purchase a day pass. Usually its price starts from 100 dirhams per adult. Many beach clubs have a fully redeemable concept – drinks and food are included in the entrance fee.

DUBAI PUBLIC BEACHES

One of the most popular public beaches is the spacious Kite Beach. As the name suggests, Kite Beach is a favorite place for kitesurfers. There is a separate area on the beach for them. You can also go sapsurfing, wind surfing or just lie on the soft sand and sunbathe on Kite Beach.

Sunset Beach is the perfect place to spend a day with your family. The beach overlooks the Burj Al Arab Parus Hotel. According to Forbes magazine, Dubai ranks second in the ranking of cities with the most beautiful sunsets. You can see one of them here – on Sunset Beach.

This is one of the quietest areas on the coast, as well as a great place for a morning jog on the beach treadmill or a walk overlooking the Arabian Gulf. One of the city’s night beaches also works here – after sunset, special spotlights turn on here.

Jumeirah Public Beach or Nessnass Beach is another free Dubai city beach where you can not only spend a relaxing day with your family, but also practice windsurfing and kitesurfing. Nessnass Beach also has a night swimming area.
