A year of intensive training in South Korean tourism products at the ATOR site is coming to an end. At the final webinar, which will be held on April 19 at 11:00 (Moscow time), the National Tourism Organization of Korea will summarize the results of its online academy. Also, as part of the webinar, travel agents will learn about the novelties of the mysterious and popular Asian country among Russians.
Starting in May 2023, within the framework of the “Academy of South Korea”, created by the Korean Tourism Organization in conjunction with the ATOR Bulletin to increase the knowledge of travel agents about the country, travel professionals studied the subtleties of the direction and possibilities of recreation in the country – from sightseeing and wellness to gastronomic, event and active.
More than 200 travel agents from different cities of Russia have been trained. At the webinar, which will be held at the ATOR site on April 19 at 11:00 (Moscow time), a representative of the National Tourism Organization of Korea (NOTK) will conduct a quiz and summarize the results of the Academy for 2023.
The webinar program also includes the topic of new leisure opportunities in South Korea. Representatives of the travel retail find it interesting, taking into account the increasing demand for the destination from Russians.
Among the factors positively influencing demand, experts call the variety of tourist offers in South Korea, competently “packed” by tour operators into interesting tours. They also talk about the great potential of the direction for combinations with other countries, as well as active promotion in the Russian market.
The good prospects of the direction are evidenced even by the fact that South Korea is represented in the assortment of many, including large tour operators – Anex, Intourist, VAND, Russian Express, ITM Group, China Travel, etc.
