Bookings of tours in the sanatorium increased by 25% compared to last year – tourists go not only to the Stavropol Territory, but also to Altai, to the Novosibirsk region, are interested in treatment in the Krasnodar Territory, told the Russian Express.
Traditionally, the most popular time to travel is summer and autumn, and on some dates there are almost no places in popular resorts, the company noted. It is better to plan holidays in sanatoriums in advance: the depth of ticket sales now reaches the beginning of November.
“If there are no places in the health resort you like, consider other dates or a similar sanatorium. The busiest health resorts are in Kavminvody. It is important to take into account the treatment profile: the healing properties of the natural factors of resort cities vary,” the tour operator’s press service advised.

Lermontov’s favorite city has sources of unique radon water. Radon is a weakly radioactive inert gas that is formed during the decay of radium. In small amounts, it has a positive effect on human health, activating metabolic processes and tissue regeneration.
Radon treatments have no analogues in the world in terms of their therapeutic effect – they have analgesic and immunomodulatory effects, activate tissue metabolic processes, and reduce swelling. Radon water treats diseases of the cardiovascular and nervous systems, musculoskeletal system, skin and gynecological disorders.
Radon baths are also indicated in the treatment of children over 5 years of age – with diabetes mellitus, bronchial asthma, cerebral palsy.

HYDROGEN SULFIDE IN MATSESTA
healing water in the village of Matsesta near Sochi has been known since ancient times, but it gained real popularity in the XX century after Stalin’s visit. Hydrogen sulfide baths helped him significantly relieve pain in the joints and muscles of his arms and legs, after which Sochi became a great health resort.
Water from the source improves blood circulation, saturates the blood with free hydrogen sulfide, starts the process of tissue regeneration, activates the resorption of adhesions. Procedures with it are recommended for women who do not get pregnant in any way, and for everyone who suffers from skin and hair diseases. Hydrogen sulfide baths will also be useful for people with disorders of the musculoskeletal system, cardiovascular system, and burns.
