It’s a long way to the sea, and there are enough rivers and lakes in the Moscow region and the immediate vicinity that will help you escape from the scorching sun. We offer a selection of twenty hotels, sanatoriums, boarding houses and recreation centers, grouped along the main highways leaving the capital, but no further than 2 hours by car from Moscow. With prices at the beginning of August.
We should immediately note that there are, of course, much more than 20 objects near the water in the Moscow region and neighboring regions. Our sample does not include all of them, but gives examples, including taking into account the recommendations of tour operators.
Let’s start from the north and go clockwise so that everyone can choose a place closer to their home in the capital.
NORTH FROM MOSCOW ALONG YAROSLAVSKOYE HIGHWAY
There is a remarkable place on the Klyazma reservoir – Bay of Joy. You can get here not only by car along the Yaroslavl highway, but a motor ship coming from the Northern River Station docks here. However, on weekends, the ship is crowded and the beach is more than crowded.
But if you stay on the other side, the impressions of the rest will remain the most pleasant.
For example, the hotel and the yacht club “Novy Bereg” (dot on the map) are praised for the cleanliness of the rooms, delicious breakfasts, swimming pool, children’s room, sauna, bowling, water activities – catamarans and saps, and for a well-maintained territory.

Also, the tour operator “Multitour” recommends several places in the north of Moscow with their own beach areas.
In the sanatorium “Pushkino” (dot on the map), for example, there is a pond with a beach. In addition to outdoor recreation, guests are offered treatment and three meals a day. You can stay both in a 14-storey building and in a cottage village. Pets can be brought to individual cabins.

The Klyazma wellness complex (dot on the map) with a high rating on Yandex is also located on the shore of the reservoir.Maps. Here you can walk through the forest, do water sports, visit the SPA center or just swim.

Not far from Aksakov Bay on the same Klyazma there is an impressive complex “Holidays in Aksakovo” (dot on the map) with its own diagnostic base, a well with mineral water, an indoor pool, a bowling alley. Buffet meals, there is a children’s menu. It takes 20-25 minutes to walk to the beach.

TO THE NORTHEAST ALONG SHCHELKOVSKY HIGHWAY
In the Bear Lakes Park Hotel (dot on the map), the name speaks for itself. In addition to quality recreation, there are lakes with clean and warm water, a sandy beach with a smooth entry into the water.

A little further along Shchelkovsky highway is the hotel “Atelika Ulitkino” 3* (dot on the map). The hotel has already established itself earlier, but it entered the management of the well-known Atelika chain, which introduced its proprietary all-inclusive system there only this summer.
This is a “country” type hotel (the main building and cottages, houses in the forest). The Ulitkino River flows next to the hotel, it was dammed, and a “lake” was formed. Gazebos with barbecue grills, a sauna complex have been equipped on the shore, you can go boating, sunbathe. The hotel also has a nice swimming pool.
The Multitour tour operator has prices for accommodation for a weekend in August (2 nights, check–in on Friday, August 9, check-out on Sunday, August 11) – from 22,400 rubles for two with an all-inclusive system.

A little further along Shchelkovsky highway there is a hotel “Manor Grebnevo” (dot on the map) with a beach area on the Lyuboseevka River. The territory of the historical country complex occupies 270 hectares.

TO THE EAST ALONG YEGORYEVSKY AND GORKY HIGHWAYS
Once 120 km from Moscow in the city of Shatura on the Holy Lake, all the difficulties of the way are forgotten. Guests of the Saint Lake Park Hotel (dot on the map) come here for the sake of a fine sand beach, a warm lake, a playground, a restaurant with delicious food, cozy houses, excellent massage and master classes in a pottery workshop.

TO THE SOUTHEAST ALONG NOVORYAZANSKOE HIGHWAY
The Dubki Park Hotel on the Moskva River (dot on the map) near Voskresensk has established itself as a place for family tourists. There is an extensive play area for children, workshops are held, and a rope park is open to the public.
Adults praise the 3 meals a day according to the “ultra all inclusive” system and the opportunity to take bottled water from refrigerators for free. There are heated swimming pools, saunas, hammam and Jacuzzi on site.

SOUTH ALONG SIMFEROPOL HIGHWAY
The family-run Tsar Grad Hotel on the Oka (dot on the map) has not only its own beach, but also an indoor swimming pool. There is a large area for children with slides, a shooting range, car rental and a zoo. The interiors are made in the style of Russian towers.

WEST ALONG the MINSK HIGHWAY
125 km from Moscow, on the Mozhaisk reservoir is located Ilyinsky beach (point on the map), where you can not only rent a gazebo for the day, ride a sap or a banana, have lunch at the food court, but also book a house for the night.

TO the NORTHWEST ALONG NOVORIZHSKOYE HIGHWAY
There are many comfortable places to relax on the Istra reservoir. One of the most beautiful is the cottage village Berta Village (dot on the map) with Scandinavian–style villas with fireplace, Jacuzzi and sauna, restaurant with swimming pool, cinema, sauna, and of course its own beach. In the protected area, children can ride bicycles and scooters while adults relax.

NORTH-WEST ALONG LENINGRADSKOYE HIGHWAY
In the Tver region, between the Volga and Suchok rivers, in the Konakovsky district of the Tver region, there is a country hotel “Atelika Grand Olgino” (dot on the map). Guests praise the embankment, gazebos with barbecue grills, an all–inclusive system, convenient descent into the water and entertainment on the water – saps and jet skis.
