Jumeirah is not only about gastronomy, hotels and beaches, but also great shopping opportunities. There are several shopping malls here: Mercato Mall, Town Centre Jumeirah and Sunset Mall.
Be sure to visit the authentic Souk Madinat market, where you can buy souvenirs and spend time in one of the restaurants with a beautiful view. Very close by – on the territory of Madinat Jumeirah – is the water park Wild Wadi Waterpark.
DUBAI CREEK HARBOUR
Dubai Creek Harbour is a new area 10 minutes drive from the center of Dubai. The project area is twice the area of Downtown Dubai.
The main attraction of Dubai Creek Harbour is the picturesque promenade. There are numerous restaurants with terraces, playgrounds and entertainment for children.

The atmosphere of the waterfront resembles Dubai Marina. It is very pleasant to take a walk here, drink coffee on the terrace and be sure to take beautiful photos in the numerous photo zones or on the free observation deck The Viewing Point.
DEIRA DISTRICT: OLD DUBAI
The districts of Deira, Bur Dubai, Karama and Satwa are the so–called “Old Dubai”. Tourists come here to get acquainted with the history and culture of the emirate.
It is in the Deira area that the most popular markets for gold and spices are located. They are located on the shores of Dubai Creek Bay. As before, large ships and small boats ply the bay. You will be able to cross the bay on a modernized version of the traditional abra boat with a motor for just 1 dirham.

Be sure to arrange an evening walk along the bay, listening to the noise of the old city, the cries of seagulls and the calls of the muezzins.
There are several museums in Deira. For example, at the Pearl Museum, you will learn about the history of pearl mining in Dubai, and the Women’s Museum – Bait Al Banat is dedicated to the history and culture of women in the UAE.
Not far from Deira, there are dozens of cultural attractions in the historic Bur Dubai district, located on the western shore of Dubai Creek.
Stroll through the narrow streets of the Al Fahidi quarter, visit the XVA Art Gallery, the Coin Museum, the Coffee Museum and the Sheikh Mohammed Centre for Cultural Understanding. The life of local residents has been recreated in this center.

When visiting the center, it seems that you have come to visit, where you will be deliciously fed Oriental dishes, given traditional Arabic coffee and answered questions about various aspects of the city’s life and its history.
Deira has several large shopping malls where you can find everything you need and many ethnic restaurants of different cuisines of the world, including Indian and Asian.
There are beaches in the Deira area: Al Mamzar Beach Park, which is open at night, as well as several small beaches located along the historic Dubai Creek area. Many hotels in Deira provide a shuttle service to the coast.
AL BARSHA DISTRICT
The main point of attraction for tourists in the Al Barsha area is the Mall of The Emirates. In it you will find shops of various brands, the Ski Dubai indoor ski complex with a penguin village, a lot of entertainment, and nearby there are five-star hotels.

The Barsha Heights area, which is part of Al Barsha, is home to the famous Dubai Miracle Garden and the world’s largest butterfly park.
The Dubai Miracle Garden closes for the summer, will again receive tourists in the fall, and the butterfly park located on its territory is open all year round.
The Al Barsha area is remote from the beach, but many hotels offer shuttle services to guests.
JEBEL ALI DISTRICT
Recently, large-scale plans for the development of the Jebel Ali district were announced in Dubai. There will be a second bulk island in the form of a palm tree, on which there will be villas, hotels and entertainment. The coastline will be lengthened by 110 km.
This project will be implemented in the coming years. But even now, Jebel Ali has excellent conditions for a beach holiday. One of the largest resorts is located here – JA The Resort.

There are three hotels on the territory of the resort for different budgets, many swimming pools, about 20 cafes and restaurants, a private beach with a length of 800 m, entertainment for children and adults, golf courses, a stable, a poultry house.
The territory of the complex is very green, which is especially liked by the guests. And another important advantage is that the hotels here operate according to the All Inclusive system. The resort is located a 25-minute drive from the main attractions of Dubai, but even without leaving it, the rest will be very comfortable and eventful.
AL QUOZ DISTRICT
This area is rarely found on tourist routes. Most of Al Quoz is reserved for enterprises, productions, and art workshops.
But Al Quoz is also modern art. It is here that the Quoz Arts Fest takes place.

The festival is held at the Alserkal Avenue site – this is the heart of the Al Quoz creative quarter. There are numerous art galleries, studios, designer showrooms, cafes and restaurants on the territory of Alserkal Avenue. You can visit exhibitions of contemporary art, purchase unique decorative items, or just stroll through the atmospheric streets and stop in for a delicious breakfast or lunch.
Another atmospheric place in Al Quoz is the small Courtyard shopping mall. A cozy European courtyard with cafes, designer shops and art spaces awaits you outside the doors.
The MOUNTAIN EXCLAVE OF DUBAI – HATTA
Hatta (English Hatta) will interest those who have already seen the main sights of Dubai and want to see the city from the other side.
Hatta is a small town located in the Hajar Mountains on the border with Oman. It will take about 90 minutes to get here from Dubai. You can come by car, or you can take a bus for 25 dirhams one way.

A trip to Hatta will appeal to those who love mountain scenery, an active type of recreation. Here you can go hiking, kayak along the picturesque Hatta Dam reservoir. Hatta Wadi Hub offers a variety of activities for children and adults – rope park, archery, axe throwing and so on. The park is closed for the summer.
In addition, Hatta has a historical museum Hatta Heritage Village, which recreates the atmosphere of traditional life in the mountainous areas of the UAE. Here you can see ancient houses, mosques and craft workshops.
At the Hatta Honeybee Garden Center, you can learn all about beekeeping and taste the local honey.
The Hatta area was named the “Dubai Highlands” and is now actively developing. Soon there will be a waterfall, a tourist center and much more. But even now, Hatta is a place worth visiting for at least one day.
There are glamping accommodation options in Hutt. In addition, the only mountain resort in Dubai is located here – Hatta Fort Hotel, which has several cafes and restaurants, swimming pools and a variety of entertainment.
